Grassley, in split from McConnell, favors Senate vote on Mueller protection bill
Tensions were high in the GOP this week as Senate Judiciary Committee Chuck Grassley signaled he was in favor of a bill that would protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller from being fired – despite Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s unwillingness to move the legislation forward.
